Air Separator - Tangential Type
ARS PL Series

Design Features

Air trapped in the system can damage capital equipments like pumps, and cause heat transfer loss and reduce efficency of the system. It can also cause water hammer and erosion of pipes and erosion of pump impellers.
Teleflo Tangential air separators remove trapped air efficiently, using a combination of centrifugal force caused by the tangential nozzles and reduction of velocity, which causes the heavier water to be pushed to the sides of the vessel and finally to the outlet. The lighter air is pushed to the centre and upwards to the air vent.
The system provides for debris to be collected at the bottom which can be removed through the blow down connection. This results in protection of the capital equipments in the process line.
